The Solace earrings feature a pair of carefully electroformed real cicada wings which showcase the beautifully intricate veins of the cicada's wings on the surface of the metal. The wings are plated in copper & nickel and have been embellished with a stainless steel Byzantine chainmaille weave.
The cicada represents resurrection, renewal and rebirth, beginning their journey as earth bound nymphs and transforming into fully fledged creatures of flight with an unmistakeable, resonant song.
