shipping:
Processing Time
Wild Incantations is a small, one woman business, so please allow 3-5 business days for your order to be processed and prepared for shipment.
It may sometimes be possible to prepare an order within a shorter timeframe, so if you would like to request for an order to be sent urgently, please contact us via the enquiry form to confirm whether this is possible before making your purchase.
Shipping Methods and Delivery Times:
Items are shipped via Australia Post. According to Australia post, shipping times are estimated as follows:
Standard Shipping:
Victoria: 2-4 business days
Interstate: 3-6 business days
Express Shipping:
Victoria: 1-2+ business days
Interstate: 1-3+ business days
Shipping Rates:
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on combined weight of items and your location.
International Shipping:
Please contact us through the enquiry form if you would like to arrange international shipping.
Order Tracking:
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this number to track your order online.
Postage Insurance:
Items up to $100 in value are insured for loss or damage during transit as per Australia Post’s insurance policy. If you have an item over $100 that you would like insured, please contact us via the enquiry form before making a purchase.

how do you care for your wild incantations jewellery?
All jewellery will come with a care card with detailed instructions on how to care for your new Wild Incantations creation. A copy of these care instructions is also available here.
do you offer local pickup?
Yes! We do offer local pick up within Melbourne, Australia. Please select this option at checkout and I will contact you directly to organise local pick up. Please be aware you may still have to wait a couple of days before local pick up can be arranged. If you have any further questions about local pick up please contact us via our enquiry form.
what if my order arrives damaged?
All jewellery is packaged carefully to protect it during the delivery process. If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately via our contact page with a description and photo of the issue to discuss a replacement, repair or refund. Please note exact replacements may not be possible as each piece is one of a kind and dependant on availability of foraged materials, but we will always do our best to work out a solution that you are happy with.
do you offer returns or exchanges?
Exchanges will be assessed on a case by case basis - there is no guarantee that we will be able to exchange or refund your purchase, so please choose carefully before you make your purchase. We endeavour to include as much information as possible about the appearance, size and material of our jewellery so please read the descriptions thoroughly. Ultimately, we want you to absolutely love your Wild Incantations creation, so if something isn’t right, you are welcome to get in touch. If you wish to discuss an exchange or a refund please contact us via our enquiry form.
do you take custom orders?
Custom orders are currently open and I will happily discuss custom orders if you have a special item from nature that you would like me to immortalise into an amulet for you! It is sometimes possible to create pieces similar to ones that you have seen on this website or on our Instagram, but please keep in mind that each piece is unique and creating similar pieces may be dependant on availability of foraged materials. Please get in touch if you have an idea for a custom order via our enquiry form.
are all materials used hypoallergenic?
All earring hooks used in our creations are sterling silver in order to protect sensitive ears. The main material used in our electroformed creations is copper, which can occasionally leave a greenish tinge on the skin after long periods of wear, but is completely harmless. For any of our jewellery that is chrome in appearance, nickel is plated over the copper to achieve the chrome effect. Nickel is used as it achieves the most durable plating for a chrome coloured finish, however, a small percentage of the population is allergic to nickel so please be aware of this if purchasing any jewellery with chrome plating. All electroformed surfaces, both copper and nickel are coated with a clear, protective sealant, which not only protects the metal surface from tarnishing or oxidising, but may reduce the likelihood of skin irritation for those with metal allergies.
are all natural treasures sourced ethically?
Absolutely! Wild Incantations is inspired by a reverence and wonder for the natural world and all the creatures that live within it, and animals are never harmed to create our jewellery. Instead the natural treasures you see featured in our jewellery are foraged animal remains. This extends from large creatures right down to the smallest insects that you see featured.
Any leather products used are sourced as sustainably as possible and primarily feature sustainably sourced kangaroo leather or leather scraps & offcuts that would otherwise end up as waste. You can read more about our ethics and commitment to sustainability here.
is your packaging eco-friendly?
Yes! All of our packaging used to ship our jewellery is eco-friendly. You can compost the mailing bags (with the postage labels attached - these are also compostable), boxes , tissue paper and ribbons (yes, even the ribbons!). Any paper included in packaging can be recycled.
