Snare Amulet

$120.00

This amulet features a real Hare jawbone, entombed within layers of copper through a process of electroforming, embellished with a Smokey Quartz crystal point.

The Hare was a sacred and mystical animal to the Celts, a symbol of abundance, prosperity and good fortune. According to Celtic folklore, the Hare was believed to have connections to the Otherworld. In myth, the Hare was linked to Celtic goddesses of fertility, both of spring and of the harvest.

The bones used to create these amulets were scavenged ethically and were found in the alpine regions of Te Waipounamu, New Zealand.

All electroformed surfaces are coated with a clear sealant to prevent tarnishing and oxidisation.

Measurements:

  • Pendant: Approximately 9cm length x 4cm width at widest point

  • Chain: 60cm copper steel chain with a lobster claw clasp

Please contact me prior to purchase if you wish to enquire about altering chain length adjustments.

This pendant has a twin pendant made from the jawbone of the same Hare which you can find here.
