Fortress Amulet
This amulet features a beautiful real electroformed rabbit skull , entombed within metal.
The rabbit skull is plated in copper & nickel and has been embellished with a stainless steel chainmaille weave and an Onyx crystal.
Rabbits and hares were a sacred and mystical animal to the Celtic people of Ireland and Scotland, and symbolised abundance, prosperity and good fortune. According to Celtic folklore, these creatures were believed to have connections to the Otherworld. In myth, the hare and rabbit were linked to Celtic goddesses of fertility, both of spring and of the harvest.
The bones used to create this amulet were scavenged ethically and were found in the alpine regions of Te Waipounamu, New Zealand.
The Sanctum collection features foraged earthly treasures adorned with chainmaille to form amuletic armour. Sacred animal and plant remains, bound within chainmaille weaves inspired by ancient battle garments, are crafted into protective talismans to invoke the warrior within.
Measurements:
Pendant: 11cm length x 6cm width at widest point
Chainmail Choker: This necklace is designed to be worn as a choker and is crafted to sit close to the skin. Chokers are designed to be custom-fitted, ensuring the necklace drapes beautifully and aligns naturally with the wearer’s form. Because no two necks are the same, your chosen amulet will be custom fit perfectly for you, and you will be personally contacted via email after purchase to discuss your preferred measurements. When complete, your piece will be finished with approximately 5 cm of adjustability, allowing the choker to be worn slightly looser or more fitted as desired.
